Framing Requirements

General framing requirements apply to Studio 55 shows:
 

1.  Frames should be presentable: clean, dust-free, and undamaged with square tight corners.

2.  Supporting the artwork so that it does not fall and/or look shabby is important.  Use wire with D-rings or gallery-quality sawtooth hangers that support the weight of your piece.

3.  If your piece is on canvas and not framed, be sure it is gallery wrapped and the sides are painted.
 

4.  Plexiglass can be used instead of glass unless the art piece is harmed by static.

5.  Art pieces must include a label on the upper left back corner with:

·         Artist Name

·         Title

·         Media

·         Price

·         Artist email
