Studio 55 Group Overview

Come with fellow artists to draw and paint a live model at Studio 55 in Martinez on alternate Thursdays.  January is the exception with the move to 1/9/25 and 1/16/25. We provide easels and tables for your convenience. Each time, you’ll be able to work with professional models from the Bay Area. Begin with a series of quick nude gesture poses to warm up, then settle into a longer pose lasting 2.5 hours, with breaks included. The group is capped at 9 artists, with a minimum of 4 participants. Artists of all skill levels are welcome, and you can use any medium you prefer. The fee is $40 per artist, which includes a tip for the model and is non-refundable. Reserve your spot and make your payment via PayPal or credit card.

Location: Studio 55, which is above the Build Tek store. Beautiful space. Easels and tables are provided. Enter through the glass door facing Howe Rd, come up the stairs, or use the elevator.
