Now in retirement, Jan L. continues her artistic journey for personal joy and self-expression. As a tribute to her speech therapy background, her work often features hidden and embedded words. She gravitates toward faces, figures, and shadowy forms, enhanced by stylized mark-making and rhythmic brushstrokes, creating a visual language all her own.
